My Gift is a Challenge
What better way to bring in the new decade than with a renewed energy to improve your own health? I received a gift this past Christmas. I found out I have an previously undetected heart condition called Apical Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (apHCM). I'll admit I was terrified at first but soon realized that it was a blessing this condition was detected before a serious heart event occurred.
I have been active all my life and competed competitively in sports. So being told that I can no longer do these things is a big change. With this condition I will have to re-think the way I approach exercise and sports. I have been instructed to avoid contact sports and endurance sports. As well I am to avoid raising my heart rate.
Given the situation that I am in I can no longer rely on going for a run to work off the big meal or sweat out the extra calories. I am going to have to exercise extremely carefully and improve my nutritional plan.
I still plan to use PGX Daily and Non-Nonsense Meal Replacements in my nutrition plan. If anything I plan to use them more. I am also going to add a special formula called Q&G tablets & ResveratrolRich to the Multivitamins, Omega-3 and Probiotics that I already take.
